I was impressed with this price and scaling of this piece. As to be expected, the unit has cord management for the back and the drawer fronts drop down to reveal all your peripherals.

I love the sleek lacquer red of this credenza- looks sharp, and has a pretty decent price to boot.
"Tons of hiding space for your minimal place. Clean lines in slicked lobster red lacquer span almost five feet to broaden storage options. Expansive top pedestals a widescreen. Sleek double doors slide to hide A/V-ready shelves with a gap for cords and back cutouts. Wood composite; powdercoated metal "L" legs and slim vertical door pulls. Also available in white." 54"Wx18"Dx27.75"H [posted by katie]

At just over $500 off the original price, I'd say this sideboard is a serious consideration.
"This striking sideboard, designed by Terence Conran and exclusive to The Cornan Shop, has a mocha-stained beech-veneer frame and anodised aluminum sliding doors and base. It has an internal vertical divide and a shelf in the left compartment with a removable CD/DVD/Video inset in the right compartment, making it a multi-functional piece of furniture." Holy. This alone would make a room. I mean that- you wouldn't need anything else eye catching or stylish if you had this (which is good because you might not be able to afford anything else).
"This piece of furniture features the artwork of graphic artist Guido Crepax (1933-2003), who was hugely influential in the development of European comic art in the second half of the 20th century. His most famous storyline, featuring the character 'Valentina', was created in 1965."

This is perfect because it's so simple- and it's eco-friendly, which makes it even better.
"HoneyDrip pairs high-end, eco-friendly oriented strand board with solid steel powder-coated in an arresting red. The 1 1/8-inch thick honey-toned tops have a recessed center thereby framing the shape of the table within itself and the edges have a dramatic bevel that adds further visual excitement to each piece."
72"L x 20"W x 28"H
"Like previous lines from David Brunicardi, the HoneyDrip collection incorporates materials that are sustainable. The "marble-like" oriented strand board, chosen for these pieces, has a tighter structure than other brands and is made from quickly regenerating trees in a manufacturing process that utilizes nearly the entire log, increasing the efficiency of the raw material and reducing waste."

This provides plenty of inspiration to cover all available doors in cork. Not that you would, of course, want tacks stuck in all sorts of places, but it does liven up the possibilities for art in unexpected places. This credenza has worthy environmental credentials as well.
"Clean modern lines and a strong focus on environmentally friendly materials inform the Cork Credenza. The cork doors are made from the renewable bark of cork trees without harm to the tree itself. The cabinet utlizes rapidly renewable bamboo for the frame and FSC certified birch plywood for the interior (both materials are made with formaldehyde-free adhesives). The credenza is finished with low VOC topcoats for healthier indoor air quality." 18.5" deep x 59.5" wide x 29.75" high
