I have the wallet version of this little zippered bag and it's quite handy. I've had it for a few years and get quite a few compliments on it, but it's been sold out for a long time and it's nice to see it's back.

When I was at ICFF I ran into a girl who had a really cool felt bag that I thought would be perfect for carrying my laptop. Her friend over at Carga Bags makes them, and they have several retailers in larger cities, and some online stores carry them as well.

I don't know if you guys buy lots of wine (or liqueur) at once or not, but this bottle bag would cut down on the amount of boxes used each time to move it all to and fro the store and then the recycling center.
"From Reisenthel, this sturdy bottle bag will allow you to safely transport up to 9 1.5 litre bottles. No more bulky boxes or worrying about clanging bottles on the way home. Use the bottle bag to transport recycles to the garbage bin too." [posted by katie]

I've been pretty good this year about bringing canvas totes with me to go grocery shopping. It's mostly working out, but I've got to say that this Market tote which has the pockets on the outside for odd shaped bottles would make it almost effortless to carry groceries without feeling like your bag is about to burst at the seams.

Multi function laptop bag from the kids in Vienna.
The bag has multiple handles and carrying options, and when not being used to carry a laptop can be folded in half and used just as a regular bag. Fits mac book / mac book air / macbook pro 15"/17" and other laptops. features three zipper and two main outside pockets with concealed magnetic closures (so nothing gets scratched or stuck as with velcro) for your charger, iphone/ipod, keys, etc. [posted by kris]

For those of you who bought the Mac Book Air (or "MBA", as the cool kids are calling it), you can now purchase a pretty cool bag based on the commercial where the laptop is being pulled out of a manila envelope. The bags are going to be made in limited production so if you want one, get one now.

We saw these at ICFF at the Pure Austrian Design booth last year and it looks like they finally hit the market. It's basically a large pattern made of Tyvek (the super strong material used in FedEx packaging) which allows you to cut out a pattern (with 10 to choose from on the same sheet) and make your own bag.
"Detailed instructions allow the user to turn one of them from a 2D graphic into a 3D accessoire. All you need is a pair of scissors, a sewing-machine and a sheet of Sac à faire.
It’s a product, which involves the user in the process of production, allows him/her to build up a relationship to the object and to be proud of the result."

This would be quite a handy bag to have around; three different shapes are possible for all sorts of things...
"The simplicity of the Furoshiki Bag is pure genius. Thanks to its origami-like folds, three different-shaped bags can be arranged, each one held securely together by magnetic handles. Incredible versatile, it is fully reversable so that you can even adapt the color to your mood!" 28.25"W x 28.25"L x 0.25"H [posted by katie]
