It’s a shame to have a trash can spoil the look of a room, and really, there’s no reason why you should have to suffer the sight of an ugly bag hanging over the side. This inner-receptacle-plus-outer-cover trash can tidies up that whole dilemma lickety-split.

Repeat it to yourself everyday in hopes that it’ll make a difference. Who knows, maybe it will. Also, if it doesn’t sink in, you can use the Baldessari Boring Art Ruler (£1) to hit yourself over the head with until it does.

The brand’s collection ranges from keyholders to daily agendas, and is ideal for everyday use thanks to its minimalist appeal, functional designs and premium leather. Too cute. Not only do I eat pork, but I think they’re totally adorable as inanimate objects. Conflict of interest with earthy-crunchy types? Maybe, but I’d rather this than a talking carrot. Barry White’s “Never, Never Gonna Give You Up” just took on new meaning.

Maybe it’s the soft lighting in these photos, but these erasers seem like the perfect small gift for anyone that still uses pencil and paper.
shown: “You have to know the rules to break them.” “To Error Is Human.”
not shown: “I never make misteaks.” “Don’t give up!”

I’ve fallen in love with the Powermat. Maybe it’s because I was born under the Aquarius zodiac and as a result I’m weak in the knees for new gadgets, but nevertheless this charger is a fun glimpse into the future. The Powermat is a small plate that uses magnetic induction to wirelessly charge your gadgets: iPhone, BlackBerry, etc. Simply add a receiver to your gadget… if it’s a BlackBerry, it means a new battery door. Using a Miniot case for your Apple gadget? Add the Powermat univeral dock. Imagine stopping by your favorite coffee/hot chocolate shop and laying your phone down on the counter; as you sip, the counter powers your phone. This technology can be implanted into any surface, so just imagine what it means for the future of decorating and industrial design on the whole!
Also available in a foldable travel version.

I’ve never liked desk organizers that attempt to jam every conceivable item and tool into one compartment. The Capsule Desk Organizer simply holds a few pens and pencils, sticky notes, sticky note flags, and has a great design.
