I have admired this sofa for a long time now, and one day if my wallet permits, I might bite the bullet and get one.
“The Tufty-time sofa, designed by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia, has an original and luxurious design, and is extremely comfortable! The Tufty-time consists of various modules made of large-scale square tufts which can be combined in different ways to form a variety of configurations. The large depth of the sofa seat and its soft features make it extremely relaxing! The cover is completely removable.”

Why are big chunks of wood so appealing? I love the integrated black legs on this particular bench- they seem to frame the grain nicely and give an elegant yet natural appearance.
“Not every table has four legs. Aesthetically smart, this simple and
minimal design enables for its various applications throughout the home
or work environment. Cleanly constructed of a solid piece of Cherry,
its geometric and graceful design accentuates the natural beauty of the
grains and knots of the pine. The handsome wood top of the piece allows
for use as a reversible table or bench. Fusing sophistication with
functionality, the African wenge wood legs provide an exceptionally
strong support and stability. This item is made to order with a lead
time of 6-8 weeks.”

This is a great design at a relatively low price.
Update: There’s a similar (if not the same) table available in the wenge listed for $299.00 here. (thanks Chin!)

At this price, I could overlook the ‘inspired by’. This is a great choice for anyone on a budget.
“Inspired by an iconic Midcentury design, our wire chair is equal parts modern sophistication and organic comfort. Iron mesh construction adds both textural interest and a sense of transparency, resulting in a piece that simultaneously enhances and supports its surroundings. A true classic, you’ll love it defining a corner in your living room, pulled up to a desk in your office or grouped in 4 around a dining room table. Get wired! Imported. Wipe clean.”

Nice price for a multifunctional piece of furniture.
“Hybrid safari/luggage bench makes SRO a non-issue. Midnight black recycled leather with black saddlestitch wraps a fixed X-base in black-stained solid wood.”

“Like the kraft paper version, each of the flexible honeycomb units of textile softseating is modular with magnetic end panels, allowing them to fan open into stools, or for any two or more of the same size pieces to be connected together to create long winding benches and unique seating topographies. the flexible nature and large diameter of the fanning loungers and 36βdia. stools, allows them to be leaned on top of one another, or against walls to create uniquely contoured organic shapes with backrests.
the combinations of joining, stacking and leaning the fanning stools, benches and loungers allows endless possibilities for creating seating environments and interior landscapes.
with use over time, the edges of the textile material will gently soften, creating a unique organic pattern within the crisp honeycomb geometry of the structure.”

My new friend Adam alerted me that the fine folks over at Hecker Design are now taking pre-orders for their one less desk which will ship in March.
The idea behind One Less Desk is that CRT’s are being traded up for flat screen monitors and one can now survive with much less desk surface area than before.
What about all your paperwork, you ask? I’ve been following the 37 Signals’ David Heinemeier’s suggestion to scan all my papers and bills to PDF and then shred them–that way I’ve got everything I could possibly need at my fingertips even if I’m at home, the office or out of town.

I like the geometry of this console- more of an interesting object to put a vase or rest your keys on than a storage piece, but it has character.

This sofa’s fabric is definitely not for the faint of heart. So if you’re brave enough to go with a bold floral, I salute you on behalf of the rest of us that always settle for solids. (This frame is also available in granite.)
This is the piece to shake things up, to give a room that has nothing to wear something to talk about. Bold abstract in easy to live with neutrals takes the classic floral sofa you grew up with and turns it upside down on its modern roots. High fashion arm has mini-scroll; high salon back cocoons spare uni-cushion bench. Taupe, white and brown with just a pop of orange is never dull, never imposing. Also available in granite.

Inspired by a bridge that spans England’s M5 motorway, Frank’s table is elegant and strong, and unlike most bridges, easy to manufacture and construct. Made from just three sections, the table top and two plug-in leg units assemble in mere seconds.
