This sofa is so incredibly comfortable. It has excellent proportions and fits the curve of your lower back perfectly. I would completely recommend it if it’s within your budget. (Also, there’s a floor sample on sale at the Marylebone location in London*; I think it was marked at £2,000.00 and looked a little more red than the orange pictured here.)

Launched at the 2008 Milan Furniture Fair, Robin Rizzini’s Mate sofa is hugely inviting. Its soft cushions make it wonderful to curl up in, while it remains equally comfortable to sit upright in, thanks to seat cushions that are not too deep and a back that is just the right height to be supportive. It has a solid wood frame with elastic belts, concealed feet and a fully removable cover. It is available in other fabrics and as a modular system in a wide variety of sizes and configurations. Spare covers are also available to order.
