Just launched last week, Wintercheck Factory has designed an online store and is experimenting with using a hitched flatbed trailer as a roving showroom in lieu of a conventional retail store. The spirit of Wintercheck Factory lies in the belief that an independent entity can control the creation process more carefully and, in the end, provide increasingly lower prices for customers. The website is more than just a store, incorporating an Eames-inspired take on design by exploring and sharing the process from concept to manufactured product.
