Ah, isn’t this a lovely bed? Isn’t it just spectacular? Every once in a while (if not often) I’ll run across something that I think ‘oh, wow, that’s a great piece, I wonder how much it is?’ and then almost have a heart attack when I see the price. If I ever spend $20,000 on a bed, just shoot me. That being said, if you’ve got the money to spend, and you choose to spend it on this, I will not shoot you, nor will I encourage others to do so. Dramatic and beautiful, this interpretation of the traditional four poster bed is a complete scene-stealer. The balls and frame are made from burnt and waxed ash, finished by hand, with a slatted base in beech wood. It is exclusive to The Conran Shop and can be made in custom sizes.
