Beds

MaxSF: Folsom Bed

So, I’m quoting 2modern’s site since it’d be hard to rewrite it all:
“All MAX SF beds are created with 1/16″ veneer over MDF, with veneer banding. The veneer work is of the highest quality, providing smooth surfaces with stability and durability that many hardwoods cannot provide. The item is complete after using lacquer with smooth sanding, sealer, and 2-3 layers of topcoat. All beds are blanket wrapped, delivered into the residence and assembled for you.”

Available in expresso, cherry, or oak.
Also, you have the option of the low or high platform.

Wenge Wood Bed

This is a lovely little platform bed. And even better, it’s cheaper because it’s from Canada.

“Retro” Platform Bed

This particular bed is high gloss lacquered MDF with a fully finished back and chrome plated metal tubing. The downside is you have to assemble it, but the upside is the price.

Available in red or white.

Update: This item is no longer available through original retailer. (10/30/09)

Tucker Robbin’s Africa Bed

Continuing on in the spirit of beds I love but definitely cannot afford, this would definitely be on my top 5 list. Plus, the guy seems to have a good goal.

Price: $9500.

Mo Bed

I swear, somebody could make a killing if they could make a bed exactly like this cheaper. This one is constructed entirely of European oak, which I guess explains the price.
