These pots allow you some versatility in placement. I like the idea of switching them around whenever the mood strikes.
A set of five ceramic pots, perfect for growing a range of herbs, plants or wheatgrass. Arrange them into an X as its name suggests... and if you get bored of the look, a quick rearrangement easily transforms your X Tray into an L or I Tray instead.22"W (arranged in a line) x 4"H $99.00, Buy it here. I really love little miniature figures. These are tiny tiny at a 1/87 reduction. They remind me of this artist's work or this necklace by Anne Gerricke.

As a self-described minimalist, I usually don't like the idea of allowing room for trinkets and such, but it is rather unrealistic to think that in your life you aren't going to acquire some mementos along the way. I like how Marlon and Jace use display domes (as seen in their Apartment Therapy home tour) to create distinct display areas without making the space look cluttered.

Here's a perfect little weekly planner for the analog set. I like that it allows you to keep track of movies you've seen.
Besides our great weekly pages, we built in other sections to organize aspects of your life that don’t happen on a daily basis. There are easy reference pages for personal information, your important dates (like appointments, events, travel), special occasions, gifts, and entertainment interests (books, movies, music). We’ve also included mini reference calendars for 2007-2009, address book entries, and notes pages. We’ve even made a bookmark that doubles as a list of dates to remember so that your important days are always at hand. The (approximately) 5.5\” x 4.25\” book is perfect-bound and printed locally by a family-owned press with vegetable-based inks on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. Thanks Vicente for the link! I really like the stark nature of these porcelain figures.
Canadian souvenirs often reflect nature in a gimmicky way, with overtones of cuteness. This series of porcelain figurines tells the story differently. Familiar souvenirs from Blue Mountain Pottery and Huronia are stripped of colour and their forms altered, casting light on a more realistic and often depressing narrative of place: Eskimos are seen to melt and disappear into a puddle as the Canadian artic is warming, and Polar Bears are sinking into oblivion. Despite the serious overtones, these pieces have a humor and beauty, which makes them highly desirable. [posted by kris]

Thank goodness for all the cable management stuff that's on the market nowadays, because unsightly cords can ruin the feeling of a clean and organized space.
Under or on the desk, next to the computer, or behind the TV, loose tangled cables are always untidy dust traps. CableBox is the solution to solve these issues. Simply place your power strips or surge protector inside CableBox. No need to unplug anything first. Then stow away the surplus cable lengths, close the lid and done. Designed with cable outlets either side of the box, CableBox will fit almost every size power strip with extra space for the cords, adapters, etc.Available in Black or White. 15.6" x 6" x 5.3" [posted by katie]
