Swiss Railway Clock

Swiss Railway Clock

Precise time keeping is this clock’s claim to fame. Simple bold graphics work like a charm.

Based on railway engineer Hans Hilfiker’s 1940s classic, the Swiss Railway Station Clock is a standard throughout European train stations, with over 3,000 clocks keeping precision time.
The straightforward black and white face with a red second hand is easy to read from a distance. Made by Mondaine with a brushed steel case and German clock movement, the clock was included in the Museum’s Tempo exhibition.

One AA battery is required (not included) for the 10″ clock. Two AA batteries are required for the 15.75″ clock, which can also be run using the included AC adapter.
Small: 10″ diam., $195.00
Large: 15.75″ diam., $395.00

(Also, forgive me for being a bit Cayce Pollard-esque, but isn’t this so much better?)
