This is a striking chair with a cantilevered seat. It's a little pricy to buy more than one, (unless you have that kind of budget) but if you were looking for a signature piece for a study or main entry way, this might be your chair.

Yes, I know, this is way too expensive and not what most people call affordable, but it's also incredibly amazing. It's made of white goose feathers!! And, it's almost 3 feet in diameter!! You just can't beat that, at least not today. Think of how nice it'd look above a dining table, or next to a sofa. Mmm. Can somebody make me this for a tenth of the price? Please?
manufacturer: Heike Buchfelder, Germany
35.5" diameter
This makes me so happy, as only a huge goose lamp would.

Shoot, this mirror is such a deal. I've seen mirrrors the same size go for at least twice as much, and I know 'cause I bought one. Six foot by three, with a six-9nch white lacquer finished border, it'll be just the thing to add faux-space to your home. (And, no more standing on chairs to see how the shoes work...)
The other neat stuff in the picture you can find by following the link- apparently the white nesting table page isn't working, but all the other items are available for your viewing pleasure.
Hang vertically or horizontally (hardware included)
•Glass mirror with engineered wood frame, white lacquer finish
•Made in USA

Have you seen this yet? If not, take a look. Even if you are allergic to kids, you've got to appreciate the design of this little chair. Turned one way, the seat height is 10.5"; flipped the other way the seat height is 14.5". And, best of all, turned on it's side it becomes a rocking stool. Super good design. It'd be a good gift for itty bitty humans- not too terribly pricey.
Available in red, yellow, white, or blue.

Offered through DWR, the Icaro bed is a platform bed with a nice, sensible headboard veneered with a substantial grained walnut. It stands 4" taller (12" high) than most platform beds, giving it a lofty appearance. I believe it was named for the mythological Greek character Icarus, who fashioned wings out of wax and feathers and flew up to the sky. When he got too close to the sun, the wax melted and he fell to his death. Try not to think about that when you're sleeping in the bed.

I think maybe I posted this collection a while back (and if I didn't, it's gotten plenty of well-deserved attention from other sites) but now I'm bringing it to your attention again since I recently ran across a retailer. Each teapot is individually handmade in the Czech Republic from fine borosilicate glass (which is superior for its high temperature resistance) and, because of the design, you are able to pour it by hand just like any ol' bottle. I guess I don't have to mention that it's absolutely the most beautiful teapot/lantern that I've ever seen- quite different from your average tea set to say the least.
"Designed by architects Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Float Tea Lantern recently won acclaim at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City and awards from both UNESCO and London's The Architectural Review."

This reminds me of something out of 'Wierd Science' (that's a good thing I think).
From Uncommon Goods:
"With its Bakelite black box, toggle switch, mirror top, dimmer knob (a factory replacement for a Fender Telecaster guitar) and bulbs that evoke the vacuum tubes of high-end amplifiers, this lamp was designed as a tribute to high-end audio amplifiers. Illuminate your home with the minimalist design and retro style of this creation from scientist-turned-artist Nik Willmore."
Made in New York City.
Uses nine standard 25W bulbs, included.
